I stopped beside the road at a church the other morning because the morning sun had just risen enough to touch these huge, gorgeous, sweet scented roses, and I just had to paint some of them :) I think this one came out beautifully, huge and lush, all the layers and layers of petals building into that perfect swirl in the center.... Happy.
