I brought picked a magnolia flower from the tree on the way back to the studio to paint, and it smelled so wonderful. You can really sense that from the painting I believe.

Because avocados are really wonderfully paintable. That is really the only reason. Also I've been playing more with color and changing up the colors while keeping the values consistent.
