Well here is something completely outside of my comfort zone, especially for a daily! The light was so wonderful I just couldn't resist, and now I'm trying to decide if my endlessly layered brushstrokes make it all more tangible or just feel confused....

I thought I was done with this painting, took some photos and everything.... decided to go back in to correct some of the edges, and the phthalo blue kindof took over. And then the highlights got more enthusiastic. And now I love the drama of it all, it's all so vivid!
