Really, really enjoying this one, feel like I got a lot done with it.... and yet there's a distinct feeling of something lacking, at this point. Not sure what or how to fix it, yet. We'll see.Other than that- happy Friday, everyone! And a happy birthday to my two little brothers!

ReplyDeleteI like how the shadow extends beyond the right corner/edge breaking up that edge. It gives you three corners similar and one different..a design idea that seems to work well. If all four corners are the same color the eye isn't stopped to see something new. It seems you have given the shadow serious thought in this painting, as an important element. I sometimes like the negetive shapes in a painting more than the positive.
