I don't know why, but this little dear's personality just isn't quite coming through in the photo, and that makes me sad- it's so very vivid in person! Ah, well.... it makes me happy anyways. Violets are the absolute dickens to paint- what is it about secondary colors?- but satisfying, in their own tiny way.
