This one was a lot of fun to paint- the texture came through in such an interesting way! And of course the object itself, this gorgeous old wrnech that is so sturdy and beautiful but had been used as a hammer enough that the metal is all battered and turned out at one end.... it's just fascinating :)
Hi Kellie, Fascinating old tool! I have a few of those too; a couple came from my Grandfather. I have to admit I never considered painting them...may have to now:-) Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day. I'm still having mid-winter sluggishness going on and can't seem to get back on the painting horse very often these days - frustrating. Today just catching up on a lot of blog reading and emails and bill paying. At least I made an apple crisp to warm me up when I get back to the house, but where did the time go today??
