I'm really kindof in love with this one- these flowers are just so ridiculous and gorgeous, they look like magic or sea anemones or something. Seemed like the perfect subject for a precious little circular canvas.

Honestly, I've got mixed feelings about this one. On the one hand, it feels like a really strong piece, the light and the colors and the textures and all..... on the other, it's so sketched out, there's a million details that could be added.... but would they make it a better painting, or just satisfy the fiddler in me? I think the latter. So. Bold brushy scrumbly strawberries.

I'll let you in on a little secret- clouds are HARD to paint. They look all fluffy and innocent and forgiving, but really they're impossible. I'm proud of this one though, and it really had to be painted... so beautiful.
