The Masked Ball

A truly fancy kitty cat this evening.... and I'm all done painting my silly animals for a little while.

Chamellia

8"x10"
sold

Oh this is just too perfect. The boston terrier had me enjoying painting a critter that can look in all directions at once, which logically enough led to a chameleon with a peacock feather in her hat.

Gentle Lady

The Origin of Fire

I don't usually have much of a narrative in my paintings, but I started this one for the mythology auction, and I absolutely love the feeling of it.

The other painting I did for the Strange Dreams Collective's Mythology Auction. Tiny little thing, but lots of beauty there.

Octopus Woman's Daughter

11"x14"
click here to reach the auction

Oh wow. I did this one for the Mythology Auction for the Strange Dreams Art Group, and I'm rather in love with her. Water and branching beautiful vegetation and a beautiful creature. Octopus Woman is a wonderful strong character in the mythology of the Pacific Northwest First Nations people.
