Pomegranate and Blue

remember I had that light bulb moment about reflected light? although the spoonbill sketch totally qualified for it too, today I grabbed a pomegranate off the counter and a sheet of shiny origami paper Ocean had lying around and had a grand time with it. LOOK AT HOW ROUND AND SHINY.

Silver Light on the River

Once upon a time in Florida there was fading light on the river turning everything silver. There were swifts flying low over the water catching insects, but they were moving so fast I couldn't even think how to paint them.

The flying jellyfish, on the other hand....
